The Snugz™ 8 Heads Red Light Massage Gun combines broad percussion massage with 660nm red light and 850nm near-infrared light in one cordless tool built for large equine muscles.

Unlike a standard single-head human massage gun, its eight-head layout covers the shoulders, back muscles, glutes and hindquarters quickly and evenly. The quiet motor and adjustable intensity also make it easier to introduce to sensitive or nervous horses.

Eight-head coverage: Works across a broad muscle area at once.

Red + near-infrared light: 660nm and 850nm wavelengths add gentle warming light alongside rhythmic massage.

Quiet adjustable percussion: Start low, use light pressure and increase only when your horse remains relaxed.

Pre-ride: Use for 5–10 minutes as part of a gradual warm-up.

Post-ride: Use for around 10–15 minutes across major muscle groups as part of a wind-down routine.

What's included: 8-head massage gun, USB charging cable and quick-start guide.

Introduce it calmly: Let your horse see and smell the device while it is switched off, then begin at the lowest setting on the shoulder or withers.

Target soft muscle: Move slowly over shoulders, back muscles, glutes and hindquarters.

Read their response: Lowering the head, licking, chewing, softening or leaning in can indicate comfort. If your horse moves away, pins their ears or braces, reduce the intensity, move areas or stop.

Avoid: Joints, bones, lower legs, open wounds, active infections and directly over the spine.

Veterinary guidance: This is a wellness tool, not a medical device. Consult your veterinarian before using it on an injury or diagnosed condition.

Where should I use it? On broad, soft muscles including the shoulders, back muscles, glutes and hindquarters.

How long should a session last? Spend roughly 2–5 minutes on each area. A complete routine usually lasts 10–20 minutes.

Can I use it every day? Many owners use it 3–5 times per week. Gentle daily sessions may suit horses in heavier work when they respond comfortably.

Is it suitable for nervous horses? Yes. Introduce it switched off, begin on the lowest setting and keep early sessions short.

Does it replace veterinary care? No. It supports everyday comfort and relaxation but does not diagnose or treat injury or disease.

My horse loves it to the point he was pushing his back end into the massage gun!

“My 27 year old retired Amish plow horse is absolutely in love with this thing. So glad I got it for him . He just melts when I use it on him. He's got bad arthritis from working so hard his whole life and this massager is great for him . Very quiet and the battery lasts much longer than I expected. Very happy with it”
